​H.R  Bradley - Gunmaker

Hugh Bradley started Gunsmithing and Gunmaking  in 1968 and set up HR Bradley Guns in Timaru in the late 1970's and started to manufacture prototype guns of his own design.  Samples of the 14 different models and calibres were supplied to the NZ Industrial Design Council for evaluation and in 1984 was awarded the NZ Designmark Award, plus the Industrial Design Award and was also awarded the United Kingdom's Prince Phillip award for firearms design and manufacturing methodology.

 

Hugh now has an extensive workshop facility and manufactures all parts in house from rifle barrels in all calibres, to shotgun barrels as well as complete actions for both rifles and shotguns.
